Gye Nyame Elephant Mask

Traditional African masks have always played an important symbolic and ritualistic role in African culture. This stunning Gye Nyame Elephant Mask is a unique piece of beautiful African craftsmanship. The mask depicts an elephant head, complete with ears, tusks, and trunk. It is black with gold stripes down the trunk and along the ears. Above the trunk, where the eyes and forehead would be, there are two traditional Gye Nyame symbols indicating the supremacy or God in black set on gold block backgrounds.

The mask is approximately 19” long and 7” wide.
