Providing employement opportunities to West African Artisans
We currently work with talented men and women artisans from Togo Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Mali.
The United Nation defines Western Africa as the 16 countries of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo, as well as the United Kingdom Overseas Territory of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha
Our goals is to incorporate art and crafts from few more countries such as Benin, Burkina Faso and Mali

On February 27th 2021, we received a message translated by our coordinator in Bolgatanga indicating that the weavers were grateful to West Africa Treasures for giving them the opportunity to work. They were able to buy books and other study material for their children.
